Release: Expanded Inventory

Name: Expanded Inventory
Version: 1.0
Download: Dragon Age NexusDAMods

This mod instantly expands the player’s max inventory size to 125.

The normal game inventory size is 70, and you can purchase “backpacks” that increase your max inventory size by 10 per backpack.  There are I believe 5 backpacks in the game.  This mod will give you an instant max inventory size of 125.  This is the largest inventory the game will allow, and as a result if you use this mod, purchasing backpacks will not increase your inventory any further.

1. Use DAUpdater.exe (located in your Dragon Age install directory, in the bin_ship subdirextory) and select the DAZip file.
2. Select the AddIn in the list and click install.
3. Once the progress says “Installed.”, exit DAUpdater and run the game.
4. On the main menu, select “Downloadedable Content”, and then select the “Installed Content” tab.
5. Ensure that the AddIn is enabled.

Currently there is no user-friendly way to un-install a DAZip based Addin, but the AddIn can be disabled.
1. Run the game and on the main menu select “Downloadable Content”, and then select the “Installed Content” tab.
2. Find the AddIn in the list and Un-check it to disable the AddIn.

This mod should be fully compatible with the base game and any add-ins.  However due to the fact that it increases your inventory to MAX size, purchasing Backpacks in game will have no effect.

NOTE: This mod currently has a bug that when leveling up causes you to receive 2 attribute points for every 1 spent.

I believe I have tracked down the bug and will be releasing a new version soon, pending testing.

Bug has been fixed, and the mod updated to version 1.1

      Sorry for the bug!

I think you should note there is a much easier method to increase inventory size, by installing the dragon age toolset and editing an integer in one of your savegames. Also allows you to pick any number.

This is true but not everyone wants to go messing with their save games. This provides a simple mod for those that would prefer not to do that.

Either of the links above will take you to the current version. Apparently I forgot to do a new post about the update, but those links are good.
